Recorded Adlerian Play Therapy Techniques and Treatment Planning

Description:

Adlerian Play Therapy Techniques and Treatment Planning is a three-credit hour intermediate level training designed to deepen a therapist’s skills at treatment planning and applying play therapy strategies for meeting treatment goals. This training focuses more on techniques and goal progress than the lower level.

Learning Objectives:

1)    Participants will identify 5 Adlerian Play Therapy techniques and discuss their use specific to treatment goals.

2)    Participants will develop treatment goals based in Adlerian Play Therapy for 2 of their own clients. (This will be done without disclosing identifying information).

3)    Participants will develop one play therapy technique using resources from their space that can be applied to support one or more of their client’s goals.

Instructor Bio:

Robyn D Rausch, LPC-S, RPT-S, trainer Robyn has 8 years of experience in play therapy. She has been working with kids with mental health difficulties most of her life and has a great passion for helping families build resilience and regulation. She currently works with Renewing Hope Counseling in Houston, Texas and advocates through her business, Calming Communities. She practices Adlerian Play Therapy through Relational Cultural Lens and includes a lot of neuroscience as the foundation for skill building.
