A NOTE AS AN APT PROVIDER
Please treat our training as you would a live in person professional training.
As Association of Play Therapy (APT) Training Providers we have to follow these guidelines. No partial CE’s for training will be offered. You must attend the full live course in order to receive your certificate. Participants' cameras must be on with participant visible in the screen, during the entire course, except for breaks and lunch. It is neccessary to arrive on time, be present, located in a confidential space and with limited distractions.
If for some reason you are unable to do this please communicate with us and we may offer a reasonable accommodation (this means not changing the fundamental nature of the course). This will be monitored by our host and reminders will be given. If a participant has not or is not communicating about their camera not being on for longer than 10 minutes during the training, they may be disenrolled from the course and not receive CE certificate. If a participant is gone for longer than 10 minutes, they may be disenrolled from the course and not receive the CE certificate. If a participant does not show up for the day of the training they will be disenrolled from the course and will not have access to the course materials, including powerpoints, handouts, quiz, eval and CE certificate.
It is participants' responsibility to track the date and time of the training and know that access to the link is contained within their course on the dashboard on this platform. Courtesy emails are typically sent a few days before the training, which contains a link if the training is live.
LENGTH OF ACCESS TO A COURSE AND YOUR CERTIFICATE
You have one year from the purchase or enrollment in a recorded course or book study to complete and download your certificate. After that time, the course may be taken down and a replacement certificate will cost you $20.
Our Live Courses give access for 2 weeks after attending in person online. After that time, the course may be taken down and a replacement certificate will cost you $20.
REFUNDS
We are a small nonprofit organization. We do not offer refunds on any of our trainings at this time. In emergency circumstances, we may consider an exception. Please contact [email protected] as soon as you can if you'd like to be considered. Every effort will be made to achieve resolution, including, but not limited to: partial refund, the substitution of course purchased, credit provided for a future course.
CANCELLATION BY THE INSTITUTE
Child Counseling Center and Play Therapy Institute of NM (Play Therapy Institute of NM) reserves the right to cancel any training course due to insufficient enrollment at least 15 calendar days in advance of the scheduled course date. Notice will be provided with the option to reschedule for a future course date or to receive a full refund of registration fees. Play Therapy Institute of NM is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the customer if a training course is canceled. If a training class is canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances such as weather or natural disaster, the customer is encouraged to reschedule for a future training course.

Welcome to the Play Therapy Institute of NM. Thanks for registering for this training! Our training is through our new Play Therapy Institute of NM training platform. Please complete each section in the course to get the certificate.
In order to complete your course, go to the site at:

1. Sign In.
2. Go to "My Dashboard" at the top on the right.
3. Click on the name of the course to be completed. If enrolled in a bundle course or the certificate program, several courses may be in the dashboard.
4. On the left are sections- follow them to complete the course.
5. If the sections do not appear on the left, make sure the browser window is fully expanded and click the arrows pointing towards each other in the top right corner.
Look for the PowerPoint and sources to read and support the training left in the sections.
After the training, and reviewing all the sections, the evaluation and quiz will become available.
If this is a live course your zoom links are in one of the sections to the left. You will have two weeks after the live course to complete the quiz, evaluation, and download the CE certificate. Then you may be unenrolled from the course making it impossible to complete the course.
If this is a recorded course or book study your video will be in one of the sections on the left or your quiz will be here for completing after reading the book. You will have a year after purchasing the recorded course or book study to complete the quiz, evaluation, and download the CE certificate. Then you may be unenrolled from the course making it impossible to complete the course.
After these time periods your course will close. You are responsible for downloading and storing the certificate for this training. A replacement certificate is $20.
Invoices and certificates are found by clicking on your profile picture at the top right hand of your dashboard. Select My account and a list of sections will open on the left which says profile, password, certificates, notifications, billing and order history. Invoices are found in order history. Certificates are found in certificates. Please download these and do not depend on the platform to store them for you.
